2018 Good Brick Tour


Join Preservation Houston for a unique insider's look at a selection of current and former Good Brick Award-winning restoration projects during the 2018 Good Brick Tour, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, October 27 and 28.

The Good Brick Tour is your chance to explore these outstanding examples of historic preservation and to meet the property owners, architects and designers behind them. Admission to the tour includes entry to all featured locations on both tour dates. (One-time admissions to single locations will also be available at a reduced price during the tour weekend.)

Tour locations

  • Heights Textile Mill, 611 West 22nd Street, an 1894 mattress factory and textile mill repurposed as studio and office space in Houston Heights

  • 934 Louise Street, a restored and enlarged 1921 bungalow in Sunset Heights

  • 2119 Lubbock Street, a restored 1892 Folk Victorian cottage in the Old Sixth Ward Historic District

  • 67 Tiel Way, a 1949 MacKie & Kamrath-designed house in River Oaks

  • 3702 Audubon Place, a 1921 Craftsman-style home carefully restored in the Audubon Place Historic District

Purchase your Good Brick Tour tickets below at a special advance price of $25, available through Thursday, October 25. Tickets will be sold for $30 at every tour location during the tour weekend. Discounted single-site admissions will also be available during the tour weekend.
