Celebrate Preservation Month by joining Houston preservationists for a special happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Public Services Wine & Whisky in the historic Cotton Exchange Building, 202 Travis Street.
This is an informal happy hour — come when you can, leave when you're ready and pick up your own tab. You'll have the opportunity to meet supporters of other organizations, including the Heritage Society, Houston Mod, American Institute of Architects and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, while you enjoy the setting in the former trading room of the Houston Cotton Exchange and Board of Trade. Public Services will offer 25 percent off wine by the glass and $6 Old Fashioneds and Moscow Mules for happy hour attendees.
